Job Description – Bookkeeping Role
STQ Vantage Overview
A small but quickly growing and developing fall-protection company based in Yeovil. Working with clients mainly based in Southern England we provide a highly responsive customer service, designing and installing fall-protection systems. We have a culture of willingness to help, hard-working and over-delivering, whilst paying close attention to the detail. Job Description
This is a Bookkeeper role, with a small amount of Admin involvement. You will manage the Bookkeeping and Accounts role using our Sage package and manage the accounts through to collecting the overdue payments.
There are a variety of admin activities which vary between assisting the customers and the internal team. You will be a key part of the business function and success.
As the successful candidate you will be a conscientious individual who has a clear understanding of business principles and is keen to help us grow. You will have a strong desire to achieve results in your work-life – you want to achieve something larger than yourself and have a personal desire to work with the team and in the company’s best interests.
Job Role Overview:
Bookkeeping:
· Bookkeeping using Sage software
· Project costing
· Credit control/debt chasing
· Create weekly overdue AC reports
· Email Statements to clients
· Check purchase invoices
· Credit checking customers
· Prepare EoM payments
· Prepare EoM draft Accounts (if skills permit)
· Other associated tasks as required
Admin:
· Raising and sending quotes to customers for our repeat inspection visits (If required).
· Other reasonable admin tasks as requested by manager and colleagues.

· Adept at Credit Control; negotiating effectively with customers to gain payments, whilst maintaining good relationships.
